Priyanka Chopra to write her Memoir | To be published soon

Priyanka Chopra belongs in an altogether different league from any other actors in Bollywood. There isn’t anything that the desi girl can’t do and her success in Hollywood is a proof of it. She is an acclaimed actor, singer, producer, model. She is an inspiration to many and has been making India proud on the international stage.

Now she plans to foray into the literary section. She will be writing a memoir about her journey in the form of essays, stories and observations. Titled Unfinished, the book will be published by Ballantine books in the US and Michael Joseph in the UK. The UK and Commonwealth (including India) rights were acquired at an auction from Siobhan O’Neill and Fiona Baird, on behalf of Mel Berger, of William Morris Endeavor.

Although Chopra added that she is a very private person in real life but she wants to share her story with the world to inspire women. She hopes that through her book, which she says will be funny, honest, bold and spirited just like her, she can inspire women who were told that they can't have everything to demand everything. She believes women deserve everything and they should strive to achieve it.

Chopra, who had won the Miss India crown at the age of 17 and was crowned Miss World the same year, entered Bollywood and became one of the top actresses in the industries. She was especially praised for her performances in movies like Fashion and Mary Kom. Besides Bollywood, Chopra has also played the leading role of Alex Parrish in the ABC series “Quantico”, becoming one of the first Bollywood actors to win two consecutive people choice awards for her leading role in the series. She also became a producer with her company purple pebbles pictures which produces TV and film content.
